公式未発表だったブートレッグ音源を中心に２０１３年１２月配信リリースされた”ブートレッグ・レコーディングス１９６３”は初登場音源となるスタジオ・レコーディングのステレオ・ミックスや音質向上したＢＢＣ音源やデモ等が含まれ注目された一方ＢＢＣ音源では曲が頭ギレとなっている不完全編集も複数曲ありました。この”アーカイヴ・レコーディングス１９６３”ではそうした音源を補填修正した上でカットされた前後のＭＣや連続したライブ音源は曲を加えより自然な形の完全収録となる内容修正を施したアップグレード編集版となっておりBBC音源のほとんどが元より長い収録時間になっています。また曲の日付クレジットも一部間違いがありましたがそうした点も正確なデータ記載に訂正。さらにデモ音源もポールの「ミッシェル」、ジョージの「ドント・バザー・ミー」等の６３年音源を追加収録。元収録５９トラックだった内容が合計６８トラックとなってます。ビートルズ・コレクター必修となる”ブートレッグ・レコーディングス１９６３”をより完璧な形で修正し永久保存のプレス盤でお届けするサブタイトル通りのリヴァイスド＆エクスパンデッド(修正拡張された)コレクターズ・エディションとなっております。
